Actress Malaika Arora has sparked an age debate on social media on her birthday. The actress turned a year older on Thursday, October 23, and hosted a grand bash in Goa to celebrate with her family and friends. Pictures and videos from the celebration have now gone viral on the internet. However, what`s interesting is that Malaika`s cake mentions her age as 50. According to data on Google, Malaika was born in 1973, making her 52. This has sparked a debate on her real age among netizens, some of whom also dug up an old post of the actress celebrating her 46th birthday in 2019. 

What is Malaika Arora`s age? 

Malaika is a fitness enthusiast who seems to be de-aging when it comes to her appearance. But her biological age is 52 as of today. The actress seems to have decided to spice up things and celebrate her 50th this time. 

Malaika`s sister Amrita, also took a dig at her staying 50 in her birthday post on Instagram. She posted a snap of the cake saying, “For all the years of being 50. You are finally 50 my beautiful sister.” In another message, she added, “Mallaaa, you are finally 50. Ugh, could there be a better 50-year-old!! Uffff I love you deep… What a night last night was… Magical”

 A throwback image from Malaika’s 46th birthday (in 2019) resurfaced, sparking arithmetic chaos: `if she turned 46 in 2019, that would make her born in 1973 and thus 52 in 2025. Yet the cake boldly proclaimed 50.

One Reddit thread shared a collage of the 2019 vs 2025 parties, captioning: “She celebrated her 46th birthday in 2019. That makes her 1973 born. By that logic her 50th birthday would have been 2023. But she celebrated her ‘50th’ bday yesterday. I mean, how? If you are gonna mention your age on cakes and all, then how can you lie? Peak clown behaviour.”

This sparked various reactions from netizens including comments like- `Must be born in leap year`, `Must be born on Feb 29`, `Must have skipped lockdown years`. 

Inside Malaika`s birthday celebration 

Whether 50 or 52, Malaika seemed to have a ball as she celebrated her birthday in Goa with her near and dear ones. Farah Khan posted a video featuring Malaika Arora at the party while giving a glimpse at the venue. The video features a glass ceiling with videos of Malaika playing on it.
