After the award ceremony, the actors were seen dining at Rashtrapati Bhavan with Karan Johar.

Apart from this image, several glimpses of SRK’s chivalrous gestures from the event are making the rounds. When Rani took her seat at the venue, Shah Rukh held her saree’s pallu to ensure it didn’t get caught in the drape. In another clip, the actor was seen lovingly fixing her hair while conversing with her. He even planted a gentle peck on her cheek.
Another video on social media shows Shah Rukh struggling to wear his National Award medal. The actor initially tried to place the medal around his neck but removed it after failing to adjust it properly. Rani, seated next to him, quickly noticed and stepped in to help.
For those unversed, SRK and Rani have shared screen space in several iconic Bollywood films, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chalte Chalte, Paheli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and Veer-Zaara.
About Shah Rukh Khan’s win
Shah Rukh looked handsome in a black two-piece as he received the honour from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. This marks the first-ever National Award for SRK in his career spanning more than three decades.
Congratulating King Khan on bagging the prestigious award, his better half, Gauri Khan, said the National Award is the result of SRK`s years of hard work and dedication. She further revealed that she is designing a special mantle to display the award. "What a journey it’s been @iamsrk. Congratulations on winning the National Award!!! So deserving… it’s a result of your years of hard work and dedication. Now I’m designing a special mantle for this award," Gauri wrote on her Instagram.
