Central Railway to run additional special train from Mumbai

Central Railway (CR) will run additional Special Trains for the convenience of passengers during the Diwali and Chhath festival season from Mumbai. Details as given below:
LTT-Danapur-LTT Special
01063 Special will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.55 hrs on 27.10.2025 (Monday) and will arrive Danapur at 07.00 hrs third day.
01064 Special will depart Danapur at 10.00 hrs on 29.10.2025 (Wednesday) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.00 hrs next day.
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri. Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheokki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar and Ara.
Composition: 8 Sleeper Class, 11 General Second Class, 2 General Second class cum Guard’s Brake Van & 1 Pantry Car.
Reservation: Bookings for train no 01063 will open on October 25, 2025, at all computerized reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
Bookings for Unreserved Coaches can be done through UTS system with normal charges for unreserved accommodation as applicable for superfast Mail/Express trains.

Additionally, Vijay Kumar, General Manager, Central Railway, briefed media at the CSMT Heritage Building in Mumbai on special arrangements for passenger convenience and maintain rush during the festive season of Diwali & Chhath Puja.
During the briefing, he highlighted the number of trains being run, special arrangements, and the meticulous measures undertaken to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for passengers. Kumar emphasized passenger safety and convenience as key priorities during the festive period.
The briefing also covered crowd management plans at major stations, enhanced passenger amenities, and coordination with security and operational teams to handle the increased footfall during the festivities.
