At the trailer launch of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri in Mumbai on Thursday (December 18), actor Kartik Aaryan spoke about the pressure that comes with romantic films, describing it as “a very difficult genre to crack”. The actor, who was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024), a horror comedy, and Chandu Champion (2024), a sports drama, said there is “immense pressure whenever such films [rom-coms] are released”, given the expectations attached to love stories are high. He also shared his excitement that the film is releasing on a festive weekend. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri stars Kartik opposite Ananya Panday and is set to hit theatres on December 25. At the same event, filmmaker Karan Johar brought humour to the fore while addressing the nepo baby versus outsider debate as he introduced Kartik as an ‘outsider’ and Ananya as an ‘insider’ to the audience, and called himself “nepo papa”, and said, “please let’s celebrate this melange,” drawing loud laughter from the audience.

Actor Dino Morea says he is content playing romantic roles on screen but hopes filmmakers also envision him in a full-fledged action avatar. The actor, who features in the final season of Four More Shots Please, told PTI, “I’d like to think I’m adding a lot of sexiness, hotness and coolness, and a lot more fun to the show. Having said that, I’ve also done a lot of action in the course of my career. I think, I’ve the trappings for all. So, whatever works and whatever is telling a better story, I’d be a part of. I’m manifesting action films along with romantic leads.”
