Watch: Janhvi Kapoor reveals ‘Bheegi Saree’ was shot in 9 hours

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are currently gearing up for the release of their film Param Sundari. The makers have been teasing the audience with songs from the film, offering a glimpse into the chemistry between the lead pair. After Pardesiya, they recently released the song Bheegi Saree.

Following its release, the makers shared a BTS video showing Janhvi preparing for the shoot. She is seen working out, doing Pilates, and dunking her face in ice to reduce puffiness. While song shoots usually last for several days, the shoot for Bheegi Saree was wrapped up in just 9 hours.
Talking about shooting the rain-soaked song, Janhvi said, “We had controlled rain machines, but then it started pouring cats and dogs, and we were freezing. There were still six more hours to go.”
Janhvi further revealed that the song was originally planned to be shot over three days, but they managed to finish it in one. She also introduced her team in the BTS video.
The shoot finally wrapped at 6 a.m., and Janhvi gave a glimpse of the scars she endured during the filming, calling them her “battle scars.”

Talking about her experience of shooting the song, Janhvi shared, “Rain songs have always held a special place in our films, there’s something so timeless and magical about them. I’ve grown up watching some of the most iconic moments in cinema unfold in the rain, and to now be a part of that legacy with Bheegi Saree feels surreal. Shooting this song felt like slipping into a classic Bollywood dream, dancing in the rain, feeling every beat and emotion it was pure joy.”
Sidharth added, “Bheegi Saree is high on energy, romance, and that classic monsoon vibe we all love. Janhvi and I had a blast shooting it and we can’t wait for everyone to feel that spark, especially with Shreya and Adnan’s voice making it even more special!”
