An old video of Mrunal Thakur being candid in an interview during her television days has resurfaced on social media. The clip is from the time she became popular for her role in Kumkum Bhagya. In the viral video, she is seen giving an interview alongside her co-star Arjit Taneja, where she makes a remark about Bipasha Basu’s physique.

In the video, Mrunal is heard asking Arjit, "Would you rather marry someone who is more manly with muscles?"

When Arjit mentioned that he would prefer a partner with a toned physique, Mrunal responded, "Go marry Bipasha then. Listen, I am far better than Bipasha."

Reacting to the video on a Reddit thread, a user wrote, "Bips is hot, tall, and confident. I don`t blame these insecure women for being mad — they know they can`t match up to her inner and outer hotness."

Another user commented, "I don’t blame her; once upon a time, even Kareena was jealous of Bipasha’s figure, beauty, and maintenance."

One person added, "Never liked her. There was something about her I don’t know what it was, but I never liked her. Even after seeing all those nice, down-to-earth reels and body acceptance interviews… still, it never made me like her."

Another wrote, "Well, I guess my intuition was right after all. Her nice behaviour just seems too sweet to digest and looks like PR."

She will next be seen in Dacoit: A Love Story, co-starring Adivi Sesh. She is also reportedly part of the Telugu film AA22 x A6 with Allu Arjun. The Atlee directorial will also feature Deepika Padukone and Janhvi Kapoor. Additionally, she will be seen in David Dhawan’s film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hi Hai alongside Varun Dhawan.
