Bringing a gut-wrenching and brutal reality straight to the forefront with The Kerala Story, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is now gearing up to go even further with The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond. The motion poster has been released, and it is spine-chilling, terrifying, and charged with rage in every frame.

The motion poster of Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s much-awaited The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond has finally been unveiled. This time, the makers promise to bring into focus realities that go beyond deception, humanity, and hatred. While the motion poster showcases the faces of women filled with tears, fear and rage, it strongly indicates that the sequel will push boundaries far beyond what audiences witnessed in The Kerala Story.

This is undoubtedly one of the most treacherous motion posters to behold and clearly guarantees petrifying realities that will unfold in the film. Fearless in its approach, the motion poster stands as a powerful statement on cinema’s purpose: to present harsh realities to audiences without mercy. It also reveals the teaser release date, which is set to drop on 30th January.

The Kerala Story was one of the biggest blockbusters that left the nation shocked with its bold and fearless narrative on love jihad and conversion. The film went on to become a `Black Swan event,` and also won the National Award in two categories.

About The Kerala Story 2 

This time, the sequel deals with true stories from across India. The storytelling returns to the rawness of real life, bringing forth voices of real victims, truths hidden in plain sight, and stories unfolding in our own neighbourhoods. Introducing fresh talent as the leading ladies, the film embraces performances that feel organic, authentic, and deeply rooted in reality from the corners of India. 

Produced under the banner of Sunshine Pictures, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is directed by National Award winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh and written by Amarnath Jha and Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The film is co-produced by Aashin A. Shah.

The music is given by Mannan Shaah, with lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir.

The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is slated for a theatrical release on 27th February 2026.
