Central Railway announces special traffic and power blocks for Karjat Yard remodelling

Central Railway has announced a special traffic and power day block from 24.10.2025 (Friday) to 01.11.2025 (Saturday). This block is being taken to complete the work after 'Non-Interlocking' for the Karjat Station (Karjat Yard) remodelling work. The block will affect the schedule of suburban local trains on the Karjat-Khopoli route, which may cause some inconvenience to passengers.

Duration and Impact of Block

These blocks are necessary from the point of view of maintenance of railway infrastructure and safety. The schedule of the block and the impact on suburban services during these 9 days is as follows

Block time:

24.10.2025 and 27.10.2025 to 01.11.2025: from 11.20 am to 13.20 pm (2 hours).

25.10.2025 and 26.10.2025: from 11.20 am to 15.45 pm (4 hours 25 minutes).

This traffic block will be taken between Nagnath Cabin - Karjat stations

Impact on Suburban Services

No suburban local service will be available between Karjat - Khopoli during the block period.
