Tanishaa Mukerji admits breakup with Uday Chopra hurt more than Armaan Kohli

Tanishaa Mukerji made her debut in 200 with the movie Sssshhh.. and her work came to notice with stint in Neal N Nikki alongside Uday Chopra. She also participated in Bigg Boss season 7, where her personal and love life became a topic of discussion. In a recent interview, Tanishaa opened up about dealing with heartbreak and shared how the breakup with Uday Chopra hurt more than Armaan Kohli.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, when asked about her relationship with Armaan Kohli, she stated, "Voh itna heartbreak nahi tha (It wasn`t that big heartbreak)." Tanishaa claimed, "I was more heartbroken jab mera Uday (Uday Chopra) ke sath breakup hua. Because we were friends. We were very close and we have known each other for a very long time."
Reflecting on her experiences with heartbreak, she shared, "I am the kind of person who always looks at the bright side of things. I just can`t help it. I believe that whatever happens, happens for the good. So yes, this is part of life and when go through it, it definitely hurts. I don’t get bitter, but I get more cautious which is not the right thing either."
When asked how she copes with personal or professional setbacks, Tanishaa said, “Humare sabke pass negative tendencies hai (We all have negative tendencies). If it’s a work thing I am upset about, I definitely need to talk to my mum about it.”
Recalling her childhood, Tanishaa shared, “In my childhood, I used to be upset because my mom was a working woman and didn’t stay with me much, unlike my friends’ mothers, who stayed at home. I used to discuss this with my mum, who would explain things to me. That’s the beauty of my mother. She never treated us like children." On a light note, she added, “When I face heartbreak, I eat chocolate as a way to cope. I binge eat chocolates to get over heartbreaks,"

Talking about the pressure to carry family legacy and constant comparison with her sister, Tanishaa shared, “Because Kajol had already established her name, she had already made the legacy, right? So, the younger sister didn’t really need to do that. I was just having fun. Like, even doing a film like Neal `n` Nikki was fun for me. I felt I didn’t really need to do too much for that. I was like, “Yeah, I can just do films that I feel like doing.”
