Shah Rukh Khan wins hearts with his wit and sass and this time was no different. The actor took fans by surprise when he posted an Ask SRK session on X (formerly Twitter). From talking about King, Aryan Khan’s debut to is future plans, the actor revealed it all. However, King Khan slammed a user who asked him to retire from films and make way for younger actors.

A user asked, “Bhai ab Umar hogyi retirement lelo dusre bache logo ko aage aane do (You have become old now, consider retiring so that the other kids can come).” The fan’s question seemed to irk SRK, who hit back with a tongue-in-cheek response. He wrote, “Bhai Tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye… Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please (Brother, when the childishness in your questions goes away… then ask something good! Till then, please stay in temporary retirement)." The tweet quickly went viral, with fans praising the 58-year-old actor for his sharp comeback. 

Interestingly, this reply comes after a fan asks him about dealing with trolls. The Pathaan actor responded, “Dumbells and Action can break my bones…but words can never hurt me!! I am too busy listening to the music in my heart man."

Shah Rukh on winning National Award

The actor recently won a National Award for his power-packed performance in Jawan. A fan asked, “how do you feel after winning the national award?” Shah Rukh replied, “YAY!!!!! I feel like the King of the Nation!!! Too much honour and too much responsibility to try and excel and work harder!!”

On the work fornt, King Khan is all set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. The film also features Suhana Khan, Raghav Juyal, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. The film which was supposed to release in 2026, will now hit the theatres in 2027 after the actor sustained severe injury and has been advised rest.

He also confirmed his debut in Aryan Khan’s directorial venture Ba**ds of Bollywood. It is said to be a satirical take on the eccentricities of the Hindi film industry.
