Shah Rukh Khan announces the re-release of his films ahead of film festival

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to mark his 60th birthday on November 2. Ahead of his birthday, PVR INOX had earlier announced a film festival to honour the actor. Now, the King star has announced the film festival along with the names of his iconic films that will be re-released. He took to social media to make the announcement, while playfully adding that the man in the films hasn’t changed much over the years.

Shah Rukh Khan shared a post on Instagram, where he announced the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival, along with his production house Red Chillies Entertainment. "Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres. The man in them hasn`t changed much - just the hair... and a little more handsome Dil Se," he wrote.

The Jawan actor added, "The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival begins on 31st October! In select theatres across India, in association with PVR IΝΟΧ.  A YRF International release across the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia. T&C Apply."

About Shah Rukh Khan film festival

The film festival is set to showcase the actors’ blockbuster films to date. It starts on October 13, 2025 and is believed to be a two-week-long film festival that will run across 30+ cities and 75+ cinemas. The festival gives fans a unique opportunity to relive the best of Shah Rukh Khan’s cinematic journey on the big screen once again.

The film festival will include movies like Chennai Express, Devdas, Dil Se, Jawan, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om. Talking about the film festival, Shah Rukh Khan had previously said, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films find their way back to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion.
