Mumbaikars Can Now Track Real-Time Pothole And Road Concreting Work Status Online - Here's How You Can Check

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched an online dashboard that allows residents to monitor the progress of road concreting projects across the city. The tool, introduced on Tuesday, September 9, is part of the civic body’s plan to make Mumbai pothole-free by replacing old asphalt roads with concrete ones.
The dashboard shows details of completed, ongoing, and pending works. It is map-based and uses colour-coded data to display information zone-wise and ward-wise. Residents can also track project timelines and check if work matches official records.
The goal of the dashboard is to create transparency. People can view the start dates, progress, and estimated completion dates of roads in their areas. It shows timelines for completion and includes information on roads that are half-finished or not yet started.
Residents can search for individual road names for specific updates. The platform also lists roads that will be taken up after the monsoon season. The IIT Bombay has been appointed to monitor project implementation.
Citizens can check the “For Citizens” section, select “Check Status”, and then choose “Mega CC Road Works Progress”. The site shows data for each zone and ward.
Data is available at https://roads.mcgm.gov.in/publicdashboard/.
Information about every road under the concretisation project is also available at https://www.mcgm.gov.in/irj/portal/anonymous.
According to BMC data, the road concreting project that began in January 2023 is just over halfway complete at 50.19 per cent. Phase 1 of the project covers 700 roads, with 63.53 per cent of the work finished. Phase 2 covers 1,421 roads, where 36.84 per cent of the work is done. Out of the total 2,121 roads, 771 are fully concreted, 574 are partly finished, and 776 are yet to start.
The civic body has set deadlines for both phases. Phase 1 is scheduled for completion by May 2026. Phase 2 is expected to be completed by May 2027. Work that was paused during the monsoon will start again on October 1.
