Mumbai: Raj and Uddhav meeting fuels talks of alliance for BMC polls

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has gone to meet MNS chief Raj Thackeray at his 'Shivatiirth' residence. This is the fourth meeting between the Thackeray brothers in the last two months. The meeting is believed to be going for more than 2 hours.Earlier, both the Thackeray brothers used to meet for family reasons. However, this is said to be the first meeting of the Thackeray brothers for political reasons.

This meeting is considered important in the backdrop of the Thackeray group's Dussehra gathering and the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. MP Sanjay Raut and MLA Anil Parab are also present with Uddhav on this occasion. MNS leaders are also present at the Shivtirth.Both the Thackeray brothers had come together on the issue of Marathi language. At that time, Uddhav Thackeray had said that we came together to stay together. Due to this, Uddhav Thackeray was already looking positive about this meeting.

It is reported that this meeting was pre-planned, but the exact purpose of the meeting is still under wraps. However, there is a lot of talk in political circles that there will be an alliance between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray. It is reported that the two had been discussing for more than two hours.

According to reports, MNS chief Raj Thackeray will meet with MNS workers on Thursday, September 11.
