Kay Kay Menon denies endorsing `vote chori` campaign, calls it misleading

Kay Kay Menon recently became a victim of fraud after a video of him endorsing a Congress campaign against alleged electoral fraud went viral. He has now reacted to the claims and clarified that the video is from his series Special Ops, and it has been edited and used without his permission. The actor has stated how it was done without his knowledge or approval.

Kay Kay Menon denies involvement

The video used by the Congress featured Menon`s Special Ops character, Himmat Singh, asking viewers to join the campaign. In the video, the actor looks at the camera and saying, "Ruko ruko yaar. Scroll karna bandh karo. Agar aap yeh reel dekh rahe ho toh iska matlab kya (Wait. Stop scrolling. If you are watching this, then what does it mean)." Next, a person is seen asking people to join the campaign. The caption read, "Himmat Singh kuch keh rahe hain, jaldi se kar aao! Band karo (Himmat Singh is saying something, go quickly! Stop it)."

Reacting to it, he took to comment section and clarified, "Please let it be noted that I have not acted in this ad. A clip from my Special Ops promotions has been edited and used without permission”.
