Superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently shared a candid and deeply personal reflection on body image and weight, on social media. In a video uploaded to Instagram, she admitted she once confused being “fat” with being “unfit”, revealing that she avoided mirrors and “didn’t really know what I looked like”. Recalling a particularly difficult phase, she said Aamir stood by her during a medically supervised fasting retreat in Germany, where she felt “helpless” and emotionally drained.

The teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s O’Romeo has sparked strong reactions on social media, even as reports claim a legal notice has been sent to the film’s makers. According to reports, Sanober, the daughter of Hussain Sheikh alias Hussain Ustara, has objected to what she believes is an inaccurate and damaging portrayal of her father in Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial venture. The buzz around the film suggests that Shahid’s character is inspired by the infamous Mumbai gangster, a claim that has fuelled the controversy. Sanober has reportedly sought compensation of R2 crore, demanding payment within seven days. The notice, said to be addressed to the film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Bhardwaj, reportedly argues that the depiction harms the family’s reputation and calls for the film’s release to be stalled. The makers have not confirmed whether the film is based on real individuals, though the teaser mentions inspiration from real events.
