Coolie vs War 2: Hrithik Roshan calls Rajinikanth his first teacher

Hrithik Roshan`s upcoming film War 2 with Jr NTR is clashing at the box office with Rajinikanth`s Coolie. Ahead of the epic box office clash, Hrithik has shared his admiration towards the superstar. Celebrating Rajinikanth`s 50 years in the industry, Hrithik called Rajini his first teacher.

A day before the release of War 2, Hrithik Roshan took to X (formerly X) and wrote, "Took my first steps as an actor at your side. You were one of my first teachers, rajinikanth sir, and continue to be an inspiration and a standard. Congratulations on completing 50 years of on-screen magic!"

Hrithik reminisced about sharing screen with Rajinikanth in Bhagwaan Dada (1986) as a child actor, alongside the veteran actor Rajinikanth, who he regarded as one of his first teachers. 

Alongside promoting his own film War 2, Hrithik Roshan congratulating Rajinikanth, displayed a show of good faith and celebrated the power of Indian Cinema and Rajinikanth`s contribution to it. 

What to expect from War 2 end credits

A senior industry informer confirms, “The YRF Spy Universe is getting bigger and bigger with each film. War 2’s end credits roll will reveal two huge plot points that will shape the next chapters of the spyverse. YRF is doing its best to keep these a secret from audiences and fans but those in the know are telling us that these moments will blow people’s minds!” 

The source adds, “Not just War 2 but even its end credits are a must-watch. The YRF Spy Universe is known as the Marvel of India and it is being conjectured that these two Easter eggs will show us all what Aditya Chopra has in mind as the next slate of films. Rumours are rife about whether new characters will be introduced, or whether the other Spyverse icons will return in the end credits of War 2 or new film will be announced. YRF will make us wait for 2 more days before we know more.”

About War 2 

War 2 will feature Hrithik Roshan back on-screen as his popular character of Major Kabir from War (2019). Upon release, War had emerged as the highest-grossing film of the year. 

The sequel, War 2 is set to be the sixth instalment of YRF`s Spy Universe. The film will showcase Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr and Kiara Advani in leading roles. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is Produced by Aditya Chopra`s Yash Raj Films and is set to release in theatres on 14th August in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
