Choreographer linked with Palaash Muchhal amid cheating row denies involvement

Smriti Mandhana, the Indian women`s cricket vice-captain, and filmmaker Palaash Muchhal were reportedly planned to marry on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra. The wedding celebrations, however, came to an abrupt halt, with family citing health concerns. Soon after the postponement, admirers discovered that Smriti had removed all wedding-related images from her Instagram account, including engagement and proposal photos.

As the matter gathered popularity on Reddit and Instagram, an anonymous post claimed that two choreographers from the Bosco group, Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz, who were contracted to teach Smriti and Palaash their wedding dances, were engaged in the incident. These statements rapidly went viral, provoking widespread fury among netizens. Within hours, both names were trending, causing Gulnaaz to respond publicly.

Choreographer`s statement over the controversy

Taking to her Instagram story, the choreographer wrote,  “I`ve been noticing a lot of speculation and false claims going around about Me & My Friend Nandika, so I want to clear this Straight that We Are not the people involved in this issue. Just because We know someone socially or have a photo with them doesn`t mean We are connected to their personal matters. Please let`s keep things respectful and not jump to conclusions. We appreciate your understanding and support.”

Her tweet occurred as social media continued to speculate about what went wrong between Smriti and Palaash, despite the fact that none of the claims made online have been proven.

As of now, choreographer Nandika Dwivedi has not issued a statement and has set her profile to private. Smriti and Palaash have not commented on the controversy, nor have their agents provided any clarity.
