`Beyond science and beyond sense`: War 2 X review

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR`s War 2 has finally hit the screens amid much buzz and anticipation. The film has received mixed reception from users on X (formerly Twitter). One user who found some scene exaggerated trolled the film saying, "It`s gonna national level troll material. Beyond the science and Beyond the sense." Another disappointed user wrote, "War2Review: TERRIBLE! War2 is full torture. Only loud music and slo-mo entries, that’s it. Weak story, poor VFX & predictable twists. #HrithikRoshan’s performance is flat; JrNTR is fine. War2 isn’t just the worst film in the SpyUni, but it’s the worst action film in recent times.”

It`s okay to be on the chubbier side for a leading man; forced shirtless scenes with bad VFX only add to the humiliation.

Another critic pointed out, “War2 is a strictly mediocre action thriller, leaning heavily on style over substance! The storyline deviates slightly from other Spy Universe films and had promise, but failed to fully deliver. Despite the variation, the pacing mirrors the rest of the franchise, making it feel rather ordinary and formulaic. (sic)” 

Another viewer said, “Hrithik sleepwalks, NTR overacts, and War 2 is a disaster in slow motion. A lifeless story wrapped in noisy action pure torture. A complete waste of money and time."

On the other hand, a user who like the film wrote, “I’m just left speechless, what a movie #War2. Never a dull moment – full action-packed until the end. @iHrithik couldn’t take my eyes off you. #HrithikRoshan #JrNTR enjoyed seeing him in his role. Must-watch movie in the theatre. Blockbuster loading (sic)” Another user wrote, "Good 1st half, Very good interval with a twist, Decent 2nd half, Slow at a few places, Good Climax, Overall a Good movie" One user summed up their review saying, "It’s a Blockbuster."

About War 2

War 2 is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and marks the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. Hrithik reprises his role of Kabir in the sequel, which features the clash between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan as they both try to serve the nation with their respective ideologies.
