Akshay Kumar’s car accident: Rickshaw driver critical, brother seeks help

Akshay Kumar’s security vehicle met with a serious road accident in Juhu after a chain collision on Monday. Two people were injured in the collision between two cars and an auto rickshaw. Mohammed Sameer, the brother of the autorickshaw driver involved in a collision, has sought help for his brother`s medical treatment as he remains in a critical state.

Autorickshaw driver`s brother seeks help

Speaking to ANI, Sameer said, “This incident happened around 8 to 8.30 pm. My brother was driving the rickshaw with a passenger present in the backseat when actor Akshay Kumar’s Innova and a Mercedes were behind them. When the Mercedes hit the Innova, the Innova crashed into the rickshaw. As a result, my brother and the passenger were trapped under it. The entire rickshaw was destroyed, and my brother is in a very serious condition."

He further said, “They asked us to leave the spot…My only request is that my brother should receive proper treatment and that compensation is provided for the damage to the rickshaw. We don’t want anything else."

“We took my brother to Criti care, but we are poor people, we won’t be able to afford it. My brother is in critical condition, and I want him to recover, that is all," he added.

Akshay Kumar`s car accident

On Monday night, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar`s security vehicle was involved in a serious road accident in Juhu after a chain collision. The incident reportedly took place after a car hit an auto-rickshaw from behind, causing it to overturn and ram into Akshay`s escort vehicle.

As per the Mumbai Police, the incident took place at around 9:00 pm, and no one from Akshay Kumar or his family was present in the car, which is used for Akshay Kumar`s private security and his personal security personnel were present in the car.

Several videos from the accident have emerged online, showing locals helping authorities to pull an injured man from the wrecked vehicle. The Juhu police have reportedly registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes driver, and further investigation is underway.
