Western Railway Announces 60-Day Track Renewal Block At Mumbai Central - Check List Of Affected Trains

Passengers on the Western Railway (WR) line will face temporary disruptions for the next few days.

A major 60-day block has been started for Complete Track Renewal (CTR) work on platform number 4 at Mumbai Central station. The work, which started from November 23, 2025, has led to the diversion of many long-distance trains and partial cancellation of some trains.

Block required for safety and track upgrade - Western Railway

Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek said that this block is essential to improve the quality of the track at Mumbai Central, one of the busiest terminals in Mumbai, and to make the movement of trains safer and smoother.

Affected trains: Short Termination / Partial Cancellation

The following trains will now be terminated at Dadar instead of Mumbai Central. The following trains from Dadar to Mumbai Central will remain partially cancelled:

22946 Okha - Mumbai Central Express

22210 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Mumbai Central Express

09086 Indore - Mumbai Central Express

09076 Kathgodam - Mumbai Central Express

09186 Kanpur Anwarganj - Mumbai Central Express

Western Railway has requested passengers that there is a possibility of changes in the train schedule during the block. Therefore, check the updates before travelling and plan your journey accordingly.
