War 2: Advance bookings of Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR film opens with explosive promo

Yash Raj Films’ War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is the most awaited film of 2025. The company announced the start of this massive pan-India action spectacle’s India advance booking by releasing an insane new action promo featuring Hrithik & NTR as super-spies Kabir & Vikram!

Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 advance bookings begin

The advance booking for War 2 in India has begun as the movie is just 4 days away from release. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to keep the buzz of the movie alive, and this time as well they dropped a pre-release promo featuring NTR and Hrithik engaging in adrenaline-pumping action. Sharing the promo, makers wrote, "Are you ready to witness the CARNAGE in cinemas from August 14th? BOOK TICKETS NOW for War 2 and let us give you an experience to cherish for the rest of your lives. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil in theatres worldwide!"

Produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the sixth instalment from the fabled YRF Spy Universe franchise, which has only delivered blockbusters. War 2 promises to be an action spectacle, with jaw-dropping scale and action and an intense, gripping story that will see Hrithik & NTR take on each other for an epic, bloody showdown. The film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 14, 2025. It stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady.

A few days ago, reports were rife that CBFC has suggested certain cuts in the film, eliminating obscene content. An exclusive report by mid-day stated, “There has been a significant 13-minute reduction. A longer, raw cut was submitted to ensure that the film reaches international territories in a timely fashion, while the VFX work was still being finalised. The shorter theatrical cut is now much more aligned with the makers’ original vision,” shares a source, adding that the team didn’t want to compromise on the pace of the Ayan Mukerji-directed film, especially in the second half. “To deliver a tighter, more gripping film, it was internally decided that they would edit the film further and resubmit.”

Meanwhile, War 2 will be clashing at the box office with Rajinikanth`s Tamil film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The latter film also has pivotal cameo appearances by Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna and Upendra. Its advance bookings are already on and it is taking the box office by storm.
