This year, 1,112 students from 52 countries applied for admission to various professional courses in the state through the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell). Of these, 271 students have taken admission so far.
Out of the total applicants, 430 are foreign nationals, while 682 are Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). These students are primarily attracted to engineering, management, and law courses.
The highest number of applications came from Nepal (74), followed by the United Arab Emirates (72), Indonesia (61), Qatar (37), Saudi Arabia (34), Oman (26), Kuwait (19), and the United States (10). Additionally, students from countries like Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Argentina, and the UK also registered for admission.
