Sanjay Dutt`s daughter Trishala shares cryptic note about manipulation

Actor Sanjay Dutt`s elder daughter, Trishala Dutt, recently shared a cryptic note on social media. In her post, she reflected on how some people use silent treatment as a tool to emotionally manipulate the other person in a relationship.

Trishal, in her post, shared how instead of communicating their feelings, some people decide to punish the other person for having boundaries or a different perspective. The post read, "They are silently `teaching` you that your voice is dangerous, and that speaking up will clearly cost you connection with them."

She went on to add that this is certainly not the way to be treated in a relationship, saying, "Silence used as punishment is abuse." She even advised everyone facing such a situation to refuse such abuse and to protect their peace. The post added, "Real relationships don`t teach you lessons through pain, they heal through communication."

Trishala even provided a healthy alternative to such treatment, saying it is better to switch to healthy silence. However, she notes that the cooling-down period should be first communicated effectively.

This should also be followed by returning for a healthy communication about whatever is bothering you. She concluded her post saying, "Silence that protects your nervous system is self respect. Silence that punishes someone else is power play."

For the unversed, Trishala Dutt is Sanjay Dutt`s daughter from his first marriage to the late Richa Sharma. Trishala was born in 1988. Her mother, Richa, tragically passed away in 1996 due to a brain tumour.

After her death, Sanjay Dutt married actress Maanayata Dutt in 2008. In 2010, Sanjay and Maanayata were blessed with twins, a son whom they named Shahraan and a daughter whom they called Iqra. Although Shahraan and Iqra are known to make occasional appearances in the media with their parents, Trishala has consciously decided to stay away from the limelight despite her famous family roots.

 Trishala reportedly works as a psychotherapist in the United States. She has dedicated herself to pursuing a career in mental health and forensic science and often shares such mental health and well-being-related posts on Instagram.
