New Bomb Threat in Mumbai Puts Police on High Alert

Bomb threat has been issued once again in Mumbai. An unknown person has made a phone call warning of a bomb explosion in the sea near Mumbai. A call regarding this was received at the emergency helpline 112 in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. After which the information was reported to the Mumbai Police. After that, the relevant agencies were alerted.

Mumbai Police was alerted immediately after receiving the threatening phone call and security arrangements on the beach have been tightened. The police have launched a thorough investigation, including technical investigations, to find the unknown person who made the call.

According to the information received, work is underway to identify where exactly this phone call came from and who made it. Preliminary investigation has found that the information is not true. Therefore, the police are investigating the matter further. Meanwhile, the Intelligence Department and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATA) are also looking into the matter seriously and all the relevant agencies have been kept ready. The Navy has also been informed about this.
