IIM Mumbai to launch Artepreneur PGDM in Creative Leadership for Performing Arts From June 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has announced its collaboration with Kkala, founded by Kailash Kher, the pioneering creative education platform to launch Artepreneur PGDM – a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Leadership for the Performing Arts.

The programme will run from June 2026 through May 2027 and is tailored for aspiring leaders in the performing arts, creative entrepreneurs, and visionary artists who aspire to combine artistic innovation with business leadership.

Speaking on the occasion, Director, IIM Mumbai, Prof. Manoj K. Tiwari, said,“Our collaboration with Kkala builds upon IIM Mumbai’s mission to cultivate empathetic, innovative, and transformative leaders. Artepreneur PGDM is designed to nurture creative leadership – that vital blend of artistry and strategic vision that today’s world needs.” Sharing his views, Founder, Kkala, Padma Shri Kailash Kher, stated,“The performing arts have the power to transform not just how we perform on stage, but how we lead in our communities and workplaces. This collaboration is a remarkable step in bringing creative leadership to the forefront of business education.”

Artepreneur PGDM offers a unique blend of personal branding, artistic foundations, project execution, financial literacy, marketing, leadership and entrepreneurship, with a curriculum that fosters rigorous creative and strategic thinking. Participants will experience a dynamic learning journey that integrates theatre, music, dance and yoga with management frameworks, equipping them to navigate complex real-world challenges with emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience.
