Huma Qureshi’s cousin brother killed in Delhi, 2 accused arrested

Actor Huma Qureshi`s brother, Asif Qureshi, was killed in a late-night parking dispute in Delhi`s Nizamuddin neighborhood. Police claimed that both of the accused have been apprehended, and the murder weapon has been confiscated.

The incident occurred on Thursday night, around 10 p.m., when Asif Qureshi instructed two men to park their scooter away from his house`s main door. Following a verbal altercation, the males fled the scene but threatened to return.

Asif`s wife Shaheen Qureshi, talks about the scarring incident

"At around 9:30-10 pm, a neighbour parked a scooter right outside our house," recalled Shaheen Asif Qureshi, one of the wives of Asif Qureshi. "My husband, Asif, requested him to move the vehicle away. The man abused Asif and threatened to come back."

A simple parking request proved disastrous.

"Within minutes, the man and his brother approached Asif and stabbed him with a sharp weapon." "I called Javed, my brother-in-law, but by the time he arrived, Asif had lost a lot of blood and died," Shaheen explained.

Asif was transported to the National Heart Institute in East Kailash, where physicians pronounced him dead.

"Doctors said he died an hour and a half ago," Shaheen explained.

Asif`s wife claimed that the accused previously attempted to kill her husband.

Saleem Qureshi, Huma Qureshi`s father, expressed shock at the murder of his nephew. "Two men parked their scooter in front of the home. Asif requested that they move it aside and not obstruct the entry. He claimed, "They (the accused) were two, and they killed my nephew together."

The two accused, Ujjwal (19) and Gautam (18), have been apprehended. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which is concerned with murder.

Asif Qureshi, 42, ran a chicken business.
