Actor Priyanka Chopra is wearing two very different hats — as an actor and a producer — pushing herself across genres while backing stories that strike a personal chord. Her latest venture, the documentary Born Hungry, traces celebrity chef Sash Simpson’s journey from abandonment in India to adoption in Canada, and global culinary acclaim. On her decision to back the film, Priyanka told PTI, “As an actor and as a producer, my hats are kind of different. And my brain splits into two. I think as an actor, I’m constantly trying to challenge myself. As a producer, I’m empathetic. My production side kind of comes from what personally moves me.”

No tips for paparazzi

Actor Ranbir Kapoor reportedly faced backlash from paparazzi after a mis-managed photo op outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. A viral video shows paps angrily demanding, “Arre bhai — bulaya hai,” claiming they had been invited to click the actor.  According to the footage, as Ranbir’s car pulled up, his security is seen asking the shutterbugs to step back while the gate was closing — prompting the outburst. Despite the confusion, Ranbir paused briefly to pose before heading inside. The incident occurs days after the family, in the show Dining With The Kapoors, denied tipping off paparazzi, a contrast fans noted.
