Actor Deepika Padukone shared a glimpse from the sweet celebration of her daughter Dua`s first birthday on Monday. Deepika and Ranveer Singh`s daughter, Dua, turned one on Monday, September 8, 2025 and the actress baked a cake for her little one. She revealed that baking a cake for her daughter was her love language.

Deepika took to Instagram on Wednedsay to share a heartwarming glimpse of her daughter’s first birthday celebration with the picture of a homemade cake. The actor shared a picture of the chocolate cake along with the caption, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday! (balloon and evil eye emoj).”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot in November 2019, announced their pregnancy through an adorable post on social media in February 2024. The couple welcomed their firstborn daughter on September 8, 2024.

Consequently, they introduced their daughter to the world last Diwali, revealing her name as Dua Padukone Singh, with a meaningful message. The couple shared a picture of the little one`s feet and wrote, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”
