When asked about handling criticisms, Anil shared, "Of course, criticism does happen. Reviews also sometimes affect me. But I don`t take success too soon. I don`t take criticism completely; it makes me more aggressive, more energetic, more angry. I don`t go into sadness. It might be a few hours of being bad. The next day, the next morning, it`s a fresh day. I`m excited, I`m ready to go. I`m going to perform someone is going to say action, and I`m going to perform a different character. I`m going to see the cut. That`s it."
He added, "There`s always gonna be noise. As a star, people are going to speak about you. People are going to write things about you. How do you not listen to the noise? How do you block the noise? It took me more than 45 years to learn all these things." When asked if these things would affect him earlier, he said, "It depends on the phase of my career. Earlier, it used to impact me, and I`m sure it must be happening to many young actors."

He came and said, `Everyone is just looking at me, what must they be thinking that what a flop he has given.` I told him to give one good shot and everyone will forget."
The next day, during a photo shoot. I told him, "It`s cool. You are imagining the people. Once you`re accepted, once you`re doing honest work, it`s cool. Because success and failure is not in your hands. You just go and do it honestly. And that`s how it happened. The next day, we were all mixing and jamming with Vanga and he was okay."
