Amitabh Bachchan reacts to fan getting his face tattooed on their arm

For decades, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has followed the tradition of greeting his fans outside his house every Sunday. With a broad smile and his hands waving in the air, the star delights his admirers week after week with this ritual.

Amitabh Bachchan`s fan gets special tattoo

After his most recent Sunday meet, Amitabh took to his blog to share his love and gratitude towards his fans. He posted pictures of himself greeting the crowd with folded hands, smiling, and waving to the sea of people outside his home. He also shared a photo of the temple inside his house and the nameplate of Jalsa.

Among the pictures, Amitabh also included shots of fans waiting for him. In one image, a fan can be seen holding a red dupatta as if to offer it to the Sholay star. Another close-up photo shows a fan’s arm with a tattoo of Amitabh’s face. Sharing these pictures, Amitabh simply wrote, “Ever in gratitude and affectionate love. Life endears and moves on… To the next life?”

Amitabh learns to use Instagram at 82

The legendary actor is quite active on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter). However, he revealed that he has only recently learned to use Instagram, despite having had an account for several years.

In an effort to stay relevant in the age of social media, Big B is now learning the platform. Posting a video to his Instagram Stories, he said:

“So, I am just getting educated on how to use Instagram, and I hope it works.”

Fans are eager to see what content the Bollywood stalwart will share once he fully gets the hang of the photo-sharing app.

Amitabh shares rare Sholay ticket

On Monday, Amitabh took a nostalgic trip down memory lane and posted a picture of an old ticket from his blockbuster hit Sholay. The ticket cost just Rs 20 at the time, a price he humorously compared to that of an aerated drink in cinema halls today.

Big B wrote on his blog, “The SHOLAY ticket… kept and preserved… Rs 20!! The price… !!!!!?? I am told that is the price of an aerated drink in theatre halls nowadays… is that a fact?? So much to say, but say not… affection and love.”

For the uninitiated, Sholay will complete 50 years of its release on August 15, 2025. Directed by Ramesh Sippy, the iconic blockbuster revolves around two ex-convicts, Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (Dharmendra), who are hired by a retired policeman to capture a dreaded dacoit terrorising the village of Ramgarh.
