Amazon Now 10-Minute Delivery Service Rolls Out To Select Pincodes In Mumbai

E-commerce major Amazon on Thursday said it has expanded its 10-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, to select areas of Mumbai after successfully launching the service in Bengaluru and Delhi.

Amazon has opened over 100 centres in three cities to deliver faster deliveries. It plans to open hundreds more centres by the end of the year, the company said in a statement.

"We launched Amazon Now in Bengaluru earlier this year. Essential items are delivered in just 10 minutes. The response from citizens has been beyond expectations. Daily orders are growing by 25 per cent every month. With this success, we have expanded over 100 micro-fulfillment centres and plan to add hundreds more centres in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai," said Sameer Kumar, vice president and country manager, Amazon India.

Amazon Now, which is currently available in select pincodes, will continue to expand and plans to launch in other cities in the coming months, the company said.
