Aamir Khan moves in with girlfriend Gauri Spratt into plush Mumbai home

Last year in March, on his 60th birthday, actor Aamir Khan made his relationship with Gauri Spratt official. He formally introduced her to the media amid dating rumours. Ever since, the two have not shied away from making public appearances together. Aamir had also revealed that they have known each other for over two decades but reconnected only recently.

Now, Aamir Khan has confirmed that he and Gauri Spratt have moved in together. During a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Khan said, “This is happening right in the middle of my production Happy Patel being released. So, it’s madness.”

Khan further said that while marriage is not immediately on the cards, they are deeply committed to each other. He added that, in his heart, he is already married to her. “Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners and we are together. Marriage is something—I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something I will decide as we go along,” Aamir said.

In December, Khan had opened up about finding love again after his divorce from his second wife, Kiran Rao. Speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2025, he said he was not expecting to find love again. “I had reached a point where I thought I probably would never find someone who could be my partner. I wasn’t expecting it. She brings a lot of calm and steadiness. She’s a really amazing person, and I am so fortunate and lucky to have met her.”

He added, “I am very fortunate that while my marriages didn’t work, I am still very happy to have met Reena, Kiran and now Gauri in my life. They have contributed to me as a person in a very big way, and I look up to them in many ways.”

During the conversation, Aamir spoke about maintaining a cordial relationship with his ex-wives. “It shows we are good people. Reena is an amazing person. We fell apart as husband and wife, but that doesn’t mean we fell apart as human beings. There’s a lot of love and respect for her in my heart,” he said.

Speaking about Kiran Rao, Aamir added, “She is an amazing person, and we decided to part ways as husband and wife, but we are family. Reena, her parents, Kiran and her parents, and my parents—we are all actually one family.”

Aamir married Reena Dutta in 1986, and they have two children, Junaid and Ira. The couple separated in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan, in 2011. In 2021, Aamir and Kiran announced their separation.
