Aamir Khan calls Junaid ‘nepo kid’
Just a day before release, Aamir collaborated with son Junaid and made a unique and entertaining announcement about YouTube release by recreating iconic moments from the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna. Junaid recited the dialogue, “Aaj mujhe ehsaas hua, ki aap purush hi nahi, maha purush hain!" as he breaks the news of Sitaare Zameen Par’s Youtube release to the actor. Aamir then jokes about his financial losses from Thugs of Hindostan (2018) and Laal Singh Chaddha (2022). When Junaid reminds that he turned down a Rs 100 crore offer and opted for YouTube release, Aamir angrily exclaims, “Nikamme! Namakool! Nepo kid! Yeh kya kiya tune?" Aamir’s younger son Azad and director Rajkumar Santoshi also make an appearance in the video.
