Veteran actor and dancer Kalpana Iyer, fondly remembered as the original “Rambha Ho Ho Ho” girl, is overwhelmed with gratitude after her iconic song was revived in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar. Thanking director Aditya Dhar for reintroducing the song to a younger generation, Kalpana said she could not have asked for a better tribute. “How can I not be grateful to Aditya Dhar? If a filmmaker revives a song in such a way that today’s generation is humming it, then for me it is like saying, ‘Thank you, God,’” she shared. Reflecting on the unexpected resurgence, she added, “Who would have imagined that at the age of 70, my song would suddenly become so popular again? It’s fabulous.”

With Dhurandhar giving a fresh lease of life to a timeless track, Kalpana Iyer’s journey stands as a reminder that iconic moments in cinema never truly fade — they simply wait for the right time to shine again.
