BMC to Allot 426 Flats via Lottery; Application Process Begins

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the allotment of 426 residential flats through a lottery system.
According to the Development Control and Promotion Regulations, the allotment process will follow set guidelines. Notably, applications for these 426 flats have already opened.
The lottery is targeted at individuals from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low-Income Group (LIG) categories. However, there is growing concern that the prices of these flats are relatively high, which has dampened the enthusiasm of many prospective buyers.
