Ropax to increase their ferries between Mumbai-Mandwa from September

Soon more passengers will be able to travel between Mumbai and Mandwa, as a new vessel will soon be added to the Ropax fleet. A new vessel has arrived in Mumbai to improve Ropax service. Currently, the process of customs clearance and administrative approval of the vessel is underway. After receiving administrative approval, its trial will begin.According to the company that operates Ropax, it can take one and a half to two months to complete the necessary procedures to put the new vessel into service. After completing all the mandatory procedures the new ship will be used for passenger service. At present Ropax vessels are being used for water transport between Bhau Ka Dhakka and Mandwa in Mumbai. Around 500 passengers and 150 vehicles are travelling simultaneously from this ship.
