OVERVIEW
Project Details
E-MEDIA NEWS (operating as emedianews) is a comprehensive digital news portal powered by E-MEDIA GROUP that delivers real-time breaking news, regional updates, and analytical reporting tailored to both Indian and global audiences.
A complete breakdown of the platform's features, content categories, and user interface details includes:
Core Content & Editorial Categories
The portal categorises its coverage across five primary areas of interest, maintaining active trackers on trending and community-focused journalism:
- Politics: Coverage of government updates, regional leadership transitions, and political party breakdowns (such as community representation analyses among state leaders).
- Entertainment: Film reviews, celebrity interviews, industry speculations, and social media audience reviews.
- Technology & Business: Dedicated sections tracking corporate updates, gadget rollouts, and market tech trends.
- Sports & Cricket: A heavily updated cricket vertical featuring athlete recovery timelines, fitness progress updates ahead of major domestic tournaments (like the IPL), and retrospective deep-dives into historic match friction.
- Community & Public Safety: Investigative pieces highlighting hyper-local public hazards, municipal negligence (e.g., poorly managed electrical lines in commercial areas), and infrastructural updates.
Localized News & Personalization Features
The platform heavily emphasizes targeted geo-locational news, allowing visitors to tailor their home feeds through several mechanisms:
- Location Filters: Users can select specific states or use a "Current Location" GPS feature to dynamically sort regional news.
- City Focus: Features distinct sub-sections for popular regional cities, such as Nawada in Bihar, alongside major metropolises including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
- Live Utility Widgets: Integrated real-time local weather updates detailing exact temperature, humidity levels, wind speed, and "feels like" metrics for the selected user location.
Digital Infrastructure & Accessibility
- Platform Availability: In addition to its primary web interface, the outlet extends its reach via dedicated applications downloadable through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
- User Engagement: Offers a multi-tiered engagement system including regular member registration/login portals, multimedia video drives, and a curated Daily Newsletter subscription service.
- Corporate Framework: Operates under standard regulatory adherence policies, displaying transparent public interfaces for their Code of Ethics, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and direct career/advertising contact channels.
